My Inspirational person
Have you ever wondered buying a ticket to Heaven? How can you get it? Well, I know a woman that gained one. She used to go out on the road to help out with the people that suffered from a fatal and contagious disease called Leprosy. She was a caring woman that devoted herself to help the poor and sick people. And that woman was Mother Teresa. I don’t know if you’ve heard about her before but I’ll tell you anyways. As I was saying, she was born on August 26, 1910 but her birthdate was disputed to August 27, 1910.
As you can see, she displays the qualities of a role model and an inspiring person. For example, She was self-giving. Mother Teresa chose to give all her belongings to the poor and to live a life of poverty. She even helped the people in need and comforted them when they were uncomfortable or unwell. Would you do this?
She also had the courage to do the right thing. Mother Teresa knew she had to help the poor because she felt a calling from God that she should become a nun and to be a service to the poor. So she obeyed what God had told her to do, becoming a catholic nun and a missionary.
She inspires me because she thinks of people first. She shows this by helping the poor and aiding the unloved, the unwanted and the uncared. Not only that, she did it happily and cheerfully. Once, Mother Teresa was awarded $192,000 but instead of her having the large amount of money, she gave it to the poor because she knew how the poor felt to be poor. How would you feel if you were poor? Having to starve and find shelter. Probably not what you’d call a lifetime dream. Right?
Doing what God has told her, inspired many people, including me. She won 18 awards for doing this. The awards include ‘The Nobel Peace Prize’ and ‘The Order of the Smile’. I think she deserves the awards because of her hard work in assisting the poor. You think so?
She is a person that I would consider an inspiring person. She helped the poorest amongst the poor and displayed all the good qualities of an role model, while helping them. If you want to be just like Mother Teresa, helping the poor. In that case, you will get the chance of getting a ticket to Heaven!
